Hi there! I’m MaKayla, a lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Ankeny, Iowa. I’m a proud wife to my husband, Brock, and a mom to our energetic twins, Cal and Harper — the two little faces who inspire me daily. When I’m not behind the camera, I work as a X-Ray Tech, which has taught me to appreciate both precision and the beauty in life’s details. My love for photography began as a way to capture fleeting moments of family life, and it’s grown into a passion for helping others preserve theirs. Whether I’m photographing families, couples, or special milestones, my goal is to create warm, natural images that feel authentic and full of life.
